Stay & explore Chatswood
Visiting for work, family or a Sydney getaway? Chatswood is a brilliantly connected base — here's where to stay, what's on at The Concourse, and how to get here. Booking through our links helps keep this guide free.
Chatswood makes a smart base for Sydney. It's about 20 minutes to the CBD by train or Metro, walking distance to two malls and some of the city's best Asian food, and far better value than staying downtown. It's especially handy for business trips to the North Shore tech and office corridor, and for family visits across Sydney's north.
Beyond the shops and restaurants, the cultural anchor is The Concourse — a concert hall, theatre and library around a civic square. And when you want green space, Lane Cove National Park is only minutes away.
